Supporting Elderly Needs Is Our Responsibility – SENIOR MULTIPLIER EVENT in Italy

Saturday 2 July 2022 Petit Pas Aps organized the Multiplier Event for the co-financed project Erasmus + Supporting Elderly Needs Is Our Responsibility SENIOR called “Course modules for educators, facilitators and volunteers to support SENIOR learners” at the premises of Auser Insieme Trani association.

During the event Petit Pas Aps presented the project results:
– IO1 Essential needs of educators to support seniors
– IO2 Course modules for educators, facilitators and volunteers
and illustrated how to use them, also asking the participants to reflect together and exchange opinions and impressions on how to integrate and use them in their professional or daily life to support SENIOR.
During the event we also talked about methods to support healthy aging including occupational therapy and how this can be done in several ways, one of which is through dance.

The event ended in a very positive way as emerged from the fedback collected by the participants and thanks to it it was possible to disseminate SENIOR project, making an impact on the local territory and above all raising awareness on the issues and problems related to aging.
