Stress Management through physical activation – LOCAL ACTIVITIES

The strong link between physical activity and mental health has been verified by numerous researches. According to WHO statistics, participation in physical activities increases the sense of belonging to the community and eliminates social isolation.
In addition to reducing depression, anxiety and stress, physical activity improves self-image perception and strengthens self-confidence. It is clear that active living has a wide range of effects, from physical well-being to improving social and cognitive skills, which have a direct impact on mental health and well-being. As a result, there is a need for a stronger connection and a multidisciplinary approach between sport and mental health.

Thanks to the “STRESS MANAGEMENT THROUGHT PHYSICAL ACTIVATION” project, which aims to manage stress through physical activation by encouraging social inclusion and equal opportunities in sport, we are encouraging young people in our area and beyond to participate in sports .
