We continue our commitment in schools to increase digital literacy skills and knowledge through the project “Trust in Truth: Digital Literacy in a Post-pandemic Time”.
This time we did it through the workshop “Recognising Fallacies“.
Mistakes represent different types of reasoning errors. Populist politicians, provocateurs and radicals often base their speeches and promises on mistakes.
Through this activity we provided a group of students with a basic understanding of the different types of fallacious arguments that can occur in radical speeches.
If you are a youth worker and would like to expand your skills in digital literacy, visit our website and check the Project Results section, you will find lots of interesting materials that you could use in your work.
